I cannot play my Videos (wmv and wma) by Haihaisoft Universal Player, please help me!

Hey, I met the problem when I played the video bought from my content provider. It popup a window which told me that ‘Haihaisoft Universal Player could not render some of the pins in the graph, you may not have the needed codecs or filters installed on the system’.

Please help me solve the problem.

We are sorry for the problem. The reason of the problem is that you’re lack of the latest WMV/WMA codec. There are some ways to fix this problem.

Plan A: Use ffdshow to fix enable the codec of wmv/wma.

a)Install Ffdshow:
You can download it by this link:
http://www.drm-x.com/download/ffdshow.exe

Install it by just clicking the ‘Next’ all the right till finish.
b)Click the Windows Start button and find the file of ffdshow. Open the Audio decoder configuration and Video decoder configuration:





c)Try to play your Video or Audio again with Haihaisoft Universal Player.

Note: If you cannot open the ffdshow, but get the error message saying ‘msvcr71.dll not found error’. That means you haven’t install .NET framework 1.1, you should install .NET framework 1.1 to use the codec. Try to download the Msvcr71.dll on this page: http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?msvcr71.

After you download it, copy it into the fold of ffdshow which you installed just now. And then try to run Ffdshow Audio or Video decoder configuration again (see the pictures in step b above).

If you are failed through Plan A, please try the Plan B below.

Plan B：Update your WMP to WMP10 or WMP11.

b)nstall it and use Haihaisoft Universal Player to play your video or audio again.
